We’re very excited to announce a new ongoing video series we hope all Duda customers will find helpful. From here on out, our team will release a quarterly product update video to fill you in on everything that’s happening with the Duda platform. In this quarter’s update (Q1 2021), we were joined by experts from across the Duda team to review updates related to design flexibility, the Duda App Store, schema, site management, UserVoice, connected data, awards/recognition and customer success.

Duda added three new templates to the template library for landing pages, dental office, and online education. We also released 19 new site sections to provide additional design flexibility for your projects, as well as a whole new set of animations that you can use in your designs.
In addition to these updates, designers now have the ability to upload and use custom fonts across their Duda projects. Site typography has a huge impact on visitor experience and can convey the mood and the tone of the site at glance. With custom fonts, designers can now use the exact typography that meets the need of every project.
The Duda App Store is a central hub of high-quality integrations that can be used to extend the power of our platform.
This quarter, we added three new apps to the App Store: Loxi, Paperform, and SiteSearch 360.
Schema markup is a form of microdata that provides search engines with structured, reliable site information that can easily be found, categorized and made accessible on search engine results pages. By adding schema to your sites, you make the content easier to access by search engines. Sites with schema often are more discoverable to potential visitors as they may show up more prominently in search results.
FAQ schema makes Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on a website more discoverable to search engines and potential visitors. Enabling FAQ schema used to require tedious coding or cutting and pasting of snippets into web page HTML. Now, a simple toggle in the Duda accordion widget enables FAQ schema with one click.
Similarly, Google and other search engines use local business schema to enrich their knowledge about a business. When a local search is conducted, local business schema empowers the search giant to know and display the following information in search results:
Duda Team and Agency plans customers can add local business schema support in one click from inside the Duda website builder.
We added form response and rich activity logs to the site overview, giving site owners and administrators deep insight into activities taking place on a website. Form response statistics are now directly available in the site overview panel, and a rich activity log provides a behind-the-scenes view of which personnel (clients, designers, and others) made changes to the site over time.
With the newly-released Duda Idea Board, members of the Duda community have a dedicated place to share feature requests, vote and comment on ideas that other people have already requested. You can also find tips and suggestions from other users and see updates from the Duda team regarding requested features.
Connected Data now supports “alt text” in images. Add it to sites that use Connected Data and Dynamic Pages to improve accessibility and enable search engines to understand the content of images.
Duda announced today that it has been named a Leader in G2’s Winter 2021 Grid® Report for Website Builders and Web Content Management Systems. This report is based on customer reviews. The report noted that Duda’s professional website builder platform gathered high marks in a wide number of business relationship traits including “quality of support” and “ease of doing business,” along with “ease of use,” “ease of administration” and “ease of setup.”

First, we have an all-new video series called “Learn from the Experts.” Each video is designed to help you master the platform with advice directly from Duda experts in bite-size snippets. We also have new courses to bring your skills to the next level, including “Team Collaboration” and “Launch Your Store with Duda eCommerce.”
