First, what's Duda University?

Duda University is a learning experience platform that brings you content straight from the experts. We provide first-hand knowledge from industry insiders, designers, and successful members of the Duda and digital marketing ecosystem via self-paced courses, certifications and live workshops.

Duda University is available to anyone with a Duda account and their team members, including free trial accounts. Course content is structured into learning paths, allowing you to quickly point your team to courses designed specifically for them, including agency owners, designers, developers and agency sales professionals.

We also believe the hard work you and your team put into completing these courses should be recognized, so we made it as easy as possible to share your credentials on LinkedIn or other platforms. After earning a certification from Duda University, you’ll receive a unique, verifiable certificate that validates your Duda platform and web design expertise.

Not only that but you’ll also earn 500 Duda Community Points every time you earn a new certification.

What certifications are available?

As previously mentioned, we currently offer five different Duda certifications. These certifications cover everything from the basics of the editor to advanced concepts like using the Duda API. Depending on your role and responsibilities, you may find that several or all of these certifications relate to your work. If that’s the case, we’d love to see you earn them all!

Each certification takes 60 minutes or less to complete and includes 40-50 questions depending on the certification and you’ll find plenty of helpful resources within Duda University, the Duda Support Portal, and Duda’s Developer Documentation to help you study. Specific preparation suggestions are included in the description of each certification on Duda University.

• Duda Certified Platform Specialist. This is a great first certification for users with basic knowledge of website creation and the Duda platform. Topics covered include Getting Started with Duda, Responsive Website Builder, Content, Layout, and Widgets, Blog & Personalization, Flex, CWV & SEO, and Go Live. This certification is also available in Spanish and Portuguese.
• Duda Certified Platform Professional. This certification is great for those that know how to use Duda to simplify client management, work faster together, and scale their business with Duda. Topics covered include Custom Branding, Team Collaboration, Client Management, and Dynamic Pages and Collections.
• Duda Certified Developer. This certification is great for users who leverage Duda's developer tools to build incredible website solutions. Topics covered include API/Webhooks, Custom Code, Custom Widgets, and External Collections.
• Duda Certified in Web Design. This certification is great for users who have experience in Web Design. Topics covered include Basic Design Principles, Content Driven Design, and Implementing Your Designs.
• Duda Certified in Sales Strategies for Agencies. This certification is great for users who are responsible for increasing revenue and scaling organizations. Topics covered include Service Offerings, Customer Profile, Sales Processes, Sales Pitch, and Planning and Forecasting.
• Duda Certified in Third-Party eCommerce. This is certification will help you demonstrate your knowledge of eCommerce best practices and platform expertise. Topics covered include Store Setup, Online Sales Growth, eCommerce Best Practices, Store Web Design, Managing Customers, Payment Options, Shipping and Delivery, and Managing Products and Services.

Annual recertification

After earning your Duda certification, you’ll be required to recertify every 12 months. We’re adding new features and components to the Duda platform faster than ever. The annual recertification requirement helps to make sure your skills and knowledge are keeping up. 

Here’s how it works…

11 months after you become Duda certified, we’ll send you an email to let you know you need to recertify. At that time you’ll simply re-enroll on Duda University, and complete the certification just as you did before. During the exam, you’ll notice some new questions related to features that were added since your last certification date.

And you’ll repeat this process once per year.
