Introducing Users and Permissions

Today, we released the latest improvement to our DudaPro program: Users and Permissions. This change is a big step forward in enabling teams to work more efficiently while they build sites for their clients.

Users and Permissions allows DudaPro account owners to create accounts for their staff and team that focus their effort depending on their specific role within the organization. While adding staff, Pro account holders can decide exactly which features your staff members have access to by assigning them to a group that reflects how they’ll use the platform. By having multiple accounts and limiting access per staff member, Pro account owners reduce the risk associated with having multiple people share one account.

In addition to the staff accounts and permissions, we are also making it possible for Pro account owners to limit the features that their customers have access to on the white label branded editor.

Let’s go over two examples:

A Small Team

Imagine that you have a few staff members that build websites for you using Duda. Each of them has their own role; A Designer who builds websites and makes them look beautiful. A copywriter who reviews, adds and enhances copy on the website. And finally, you have a manager who reviews each website before it is finished.

With the new Users and Permissions, you can enable each member of your team to only get access to the tools he or she needs inside of the platform. A designer might need the option to create new sites, but certainly not delete sites. He’s probably not a technical guy, so he won’t need direct access to the code of the website. The copywriter will certainly need the ability to edit the text of any existing website, but they might not need the option to set the domain or create backups for the site. Finally, the manager who runs the operation can get access to all features inside of the platform.

With these new tools, we’re enabling organizations to define these groups and make sure that the right person has the right tools to get the job done.

Customer Maintenance

The Duda platform already enables Pro account owners to have their customers log in to the white label editor and maintain websites themselves. Before this update, customers had access to every single feature within the platform — there were no limits. Now, with roles and permissions you can allow your customer to only perform basic edits and edit certain features of the website directly. No more worries about customers coming in and messing up the website. Now you can restrict them to only the features you are comfortable with them accessing.

For small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), conversion isn’t just about generating leads. It’s about helping potential customers act in the exact moment they’re ready. Traditional “contact us” forms and phone calls create unnecessary friction: the customer must wait, the business must respond, and momentum often disappears. A booking tool changes that dynamic. It lets customers confirm a time, get a confirmation, and move forward immediately. That single step, pivoting from inquiry to commitment, has a measurable effect. Research across multiple industries shows that websites offering real-time scheduling convert more visitors into paying customers. As AI search and zero-click search eat away at the amount of organic traffic being sent to SMB websites, developing high-quality conversion experiences has never been more important. From salons to consultants to local trades, every lost call or delayed email represents missed revenue. A booking tool captures intent before it fades.
